What’s New at Professor-Friedrich-Förster-Gymnasium Secondary School

On 20 May pupils in years 10 – 12 of the Professor-Friedrich-Förster-Gymnasium in Haldersleben presented a demanding summer concert in the sports hall. They bravely offered a mix of classical music and modern jazz. Drama teacher R. Belling presented a particular surprise in that she had written a play “Lifelines” for year-6 children, containing scenes from the life of Friedrich Förster.

Friedrich Förster’s daughter, one granddaughter and one son had come to attend the concert. The cover for the premiere of the play was designed by year-10 pupils using a silhouette of the Förster family and a photo of the school.
